Pokémon Sword & Shield: How to Sign up for 2020 International Challenge
The registration to enter the international challenge in Pokémon Sword and Shield has to be held this year has been started. The fans have a great opportunity to register themselves online and compete against trainers from all around the world. The organizers have announced many fascinating gifts for the people who will register themselves online for taking up the 2020 international challenge and if they successfully completed at least one battle then they get a fashionable t-shirt to wear. The t-shirt will feature the character of Pokémon sword and Shield along with the good friend ball guy of the winner.
The online registration for the international challenge has opened and remain open till 1 March. The international challenge will follow the video gaming consoles rule in a double battle format. Further, according to the rules of the international challenge, the battle limits have been restricted to 15 battles per day and you will be provided only 7 minutes. The challenge has some restrictions too in the form of Galar Pokedex only and among the limit, it has Pokémon limits of a team of four to six Pokémon from level one to level 100 and then all Pokémon will be set to level 50.
The players must know the procedure to sign in the international challenge to participate. Here, is the simple and straightforward procedure:-
- The users have to get their Nintendo Switch and then open the Pokémon Sword and Shield.
- To get past the loading screen, the players need to press down the A button.
- The users have to click on the button X available on the right of JoyCon once when you finished the loading of the game.
- Now, you have to Choose the VS menu and then choose the Battle Stadium.
- You will be directed to the message “You are now connected to the internet”.
- After getting the displayed message, press down A to confirm it.
- You have to go through the tutorial carefully when it will appear to you. To get the tutorial displayed click on option A.
- Now, you have to make a selection of Online Competitions.
- If you have not gone through this menu before, in that case, you will be directed to the tutorial and to go through the displayed tutorial click on A button.
- Now, the users have to choose the option Search Official competitions by clicking on it. Then, you have been directed to the 2020 International Challenge Feb. Masters Division.
- The players need to click on the above option to proceed and when you will click on the options then a screen displaying the details of the challenge will appear to you.
- You will need to click on option A if you wish to take up the challenge.
- The players will need to go through each detail carefully as a number of notices regarding the international challenge will appear.
- If you want to get the notices past then, keep pressing option A.
- Now, you have to choose to Enter option and press down the option A when a message confirming about the successful completion of your entry displayed to you.
After completing the above procedure you will be successfully entered the challenge and now be ready to battle against the other competitors. Your combating skills will be tested here and you can yourself see how a good trainer you are. Some of the allowed Pokémon in the international challenge are Charizard, Pikachu, Butterfree, Sandaconda, Corviknight, Drednaw, Snorlax, Meowth, Eevee, and Centiskorch. The challenge has also banned some Pokémon some of which are Zacian, Eternatus, Ivysaur, Bulbasaur, Venusaur, Squirtle Mewtwo, etc.
